Elaine Edwards Barrett

    Elaine Theresa Barrett (nee Edwards) born on October 2, 1 951 and deceased on September 23, 2025. Daughter of Anne and Robert Edwards (deceased) and survived by her sisters, Joan Hourigan (Richard) and Nancy Mandato (Felix); her nephews, Felix, Jr. (Maria), Dane, and Christopher; her niece, Colleen, and her great niece, Amelia. She will be missed by many other family members and friends.

    Elaine had a very successful career in the insurance industry that spanned well over 40 years and she always enjoyed interacting with people. We believe her favorite invention was the telephone. Elaine enjoyed meeting new people while maintaining her many forever friendships. She was very sociable, and her favorite pastime was going out to lunch with her friends. Visitation will be Saturday, September 27th from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Kevin's Church in Springfield followed by a mass at 11:00 AM. lnterment will be at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
