Eileen M. Friel, age 66, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on September 28, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1952, she was the daughter of the late George and Teresa (nee McGee) Light. Eileen enjoyed reading, cooking, shopping, having a cocktail, and spending time in the sunshine in Sea Isle City, NJ.
She loved socializing and spending time her family, especially her grandchildren.
Eileen was the beloved wife of Frank Friel; loving mother of James G. (Joanna) and Ryan F. Friel; adoring grandmother of Bennett J. and Joselyn F. Friel; dear sister of George Light, Betty Beisser, Janie Regan, and Sue Bedrosin.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:15-10:50 AM Thursday, October 4, 2018 at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 followed by her Memorial Mass at 11 AM.
Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
