Edward P. Quinn, Jr. passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026. Born on August 8, 1948, to the late Catherine (nee Burnetti) Quinn and Edward Quinn Sr. Edward lived a life marked by dedication, passion, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.
Edward was a proud graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School, an institution that helped shape the values and character he carried throughout his life. His professional journey was both varied and fulfilling. He devoted many years to service at The Navy Yard before embracing a career as a private investigator, a role he thoroughly enjoyed and approached with keen insight and integrity. He was a proud United States Army Veteran.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Edward was a man of many passions. He found great joy in country dancing and took delight not only in the rhythms and steps but also in sharing his love for dance through teaching others. This passion reflected his generous spirit and his desire to connect with people in meaningful ways.
Edward's personal life was graced by a loving marriage of 33 years to his wife, Angela (née Diodati) Quinn. Together, they built a family foundation filled with warmth and devotion. He is survived by Angela, their son Sean, and granddaughter Molly, who brought immense joy into his later years. Edward was also supported and cherished by his siblings, Kevin and Claire.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects during Edward’s Visitation on May 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. both held at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment Private.
Edward P. Quinn’s legacy is one of steadfast dedication—to his family, his career, and his passions. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love of dance, and the deep connections he fostered with those around him. His presence enriched the lives of all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
