Edward “Ed” P. Hunt, 91, of West Chester, PA passed away on November 3, 2025.
Born April 26th 1934 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John J. and Anna Dolores (née Stoltz) Hunt.
Ed was the beloved husband of Roberta “Bobbi” M. Lewis; loving father of Stephen Hunt and his wife Jenny; dear brother of his twin Al Hunt, and sisters: Cecelia Gregory, Agnes Byrne and Kathleen Hunt. He had many great friends who he cherished dearly.
In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by his siblings; Jack, Ann, Jim, Maria, Tom and Paula, as well as his beloved dog Thumper and his later best friend Zoie.
Ed worked as a Food Service Director and liked all things culinary, from cooking in the kitchen himself, to fine dining, and even enjoying a simple all beef hot dog on a park bench.
He relaxed listening to symphony music and piano, but one of his favorite things to do was to spend time boating and being surrounded by nature, particularly in Stone Harbor NJ. Having majored in Political Science at St. Joseph’s University, he enjoyed reading about political history, especially WWII. In his down time, he would watch classic films and nature documentaries. A true animal lover, he cared about all animals, but was especially fond of dogs.
