Edward Flores

Edward R. Flores, 96, of Prospect Park, Pa (formerly of CA), passed away on July 15, 2018, Born in Mexico he was the son of the late Jose & Mary (nee Huerta) Flores. He is also predeceased by his son Edward R. Flores, Jr. and brothers Alfred, Lazaro, Fernando, Andrew and sister Beatrice (Petak) Flores. Edward was a proud graduate of Johnstown High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He served as a Corporal in the US Army during WWII, was a lifelong member of Knights of Columbus, and an avid reader with a passion for the Military or Aviation. Edward is survived by his beloved wife Irma M. Flores (Solis), loving children Rosemary Vega (Jeff), Vincent Flores, Linda Cierzan (Will), Christopher Flores (Nancy), Virginia Watson (Lance), Rose Ann Corica, Vincent Corica, sisters Connie Forgas, Gloria Guerrero, brother Robert Flores and 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Edward's Visitation at Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave., Morton, PA 19070. Visitation is July 25th 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM followed by the Burial at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
