Edward M. Emrich

Edward M. Emrich, 80, of West Chester, PA and Brooklyn, NY passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his father, John S., his mother, Anna, and his brother John W. Emrich. He is survived by his nieces, Megan Brice and Johnna Rice, and his nephew, David Emrich. He was also Great Uncle to six: Jacob, Andrew, and Fiona Rice; Jenna Mattia; and Samuel and Charles Emrich.

Edward’s life centered around his family. He worked for many years in commercial printing in Manhattan before moving to West Chester to be closer to his family. He very rarely missed a family event. Whether it was a birthday, anniversary, graduation or holiday you could always count on Uncle Eddie being there!

For decades, while he was able, he lived at a home with a large yard and vegetable garden. He loved maintaining the landscape and tending the garden. We have fond memories of Edward showing his great nieces and nephews around the garden. At harvest time, Edward shared generously. Everyone got fresh peppers, zucchini, squash, tomatoes, and beans.
