On Wednesday, July 4, 2018, Edward Eill, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at age 80.
Ed was born on May 29, 1938 in Yeadon, PA to Elmer and Lenore (nee Peabody) Eill. He was a graduate of Bloomsburg University and received his graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Widener University. He worked as a Professor with the Delaware County Community College Computer Department for over 40 years. On August 26, 1961, he married the love of his life, Joanna (nee Perazzelli) Eill. They raised two sons, Steven E. (Alison) and Jeffrey S, (Kristin). Ed was a caring grandfather to Teddy, Ethan, Samantha, Emma, and Annie and a dear brother of Donald P. Eill (Judy) and Joanne Hawkridge (David).
Always a teacher, Ed taught by example. He was patient, kind and generous. He saw the good in people. You could count on him to be ready with a joke or to watch old war movies. Ed was an avid traveler of the United States and abroad. He spent many summers in Strathmere, NJ where he and his family enjoyed boating and fishing. He especially loved the time he spent with his family and had the gift to make you feel special.
