Edward T. Capkovic, age 104, of Media, PA, passed away at Monticello House, Riddle Village on August 14, 2023. Born in Allentown August 2, 1919 he was the son of the late Joseph L. and Mary (Zavis) Capkovic.

Edward graduated from Allentown High School and received his Bachelor of Science in Arts from Kutztown College. He went on to serve his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. Postwar, Edward taught industrial arts at Chester High School, where he met his wife, Elizabeth (Betty), who also taught there. He left teaching to work for a printing company for several years before joining Accurate Step and Repeat that he eventually owned. He invented many products used in the printing industry, and holds numerous patents.

Edward lived in Springfield, Delaware County, PA for many years and then in West Chester, Chester County, PA, before moving to Riddle Village. He enjoyed many years with his wife, Betty, at their Ocean City, NJ home, especially being with many family members over the summers.

ln his later years, Edward thrived living at Riddle Village, first in their independent living and then in the skilled care area. His family would like to thank the wonderful caring staff of Monticello House, and especially the hospice staff.

Edward was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth K. (nee Krewson) Capkovic; the loving father of Nancy O'Brien (Thomas) and Mary Lou Kendus (S. Clark); grandfather of Kevin O'Brien (Jessica), Megan Caudell (Kevin), Nicholas Kendus (Karen), and Alexis Hannis (Austen); the great-grandfather of MacKenzie Caudell, Cullen Caudell, Kait O'Brien, Keegan O'Brien, Regan Hannis, Hadley Hannis, Nathaniel Kendus, and Alexander Kendus. He is also survived by his nephews, Gary Capkovic, Robert Krewson, David Krewson, and Stephen Krewson. Edward was predeceased by his  brother, Alfred Capkovic.

Services and interment will be held privately.
