Edith C. Kendus

Edith C. Kendus (nee Clark) of Lower Gwynedd, PA passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Stanley W. Kendus. Devoted and loving mother to two children, S. Clark Kendus (Mary Lou) and Karen K. Persons (Dan). Grandmother to four grandchildren and Great Grandmother to four great grandchildren.

She graduated from Roxborough High School in 1946 and West Chester State Teachers College in 1950. Worked as an educator spending 23 years as a preschool teacher at the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill. She was a 50 plus year resident of Plymouth Meeting and resided at Spring House Estates for the past 19 years. A long time member of Plymouth Valley Baptist Church and in recent years the First Presbyterian Church of Ambler.

Services will be private.
