Dorothy F. Taylor (nee O'Brien), age 67, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on April 16, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Dorothy F. O'Brien (nee Stoudt).
Dorothy was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School and was employed as a Phlebotomist at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital for 24 years. She retired in 2001.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband, Roy D. Taylor, Sr., her children Roy D. Taylor, Jr. (Irina) and David M. Taylor (Kate), her grandchildren Rebecca, Roy, III, Keith, Daniel and Kara and her brother, John M. O'Brien.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, April 20, 2016 7:00-9:00 PM and Thursday 8:30-9:30 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Arthritis Foundation, 111 S. Independence Mall East, Suite 500, Philadelphia, PA 19106 would be appreciated.
