Dorothy Key (nee Smith), Age 80, of Downingtown, PA, passed away April 8, 2018.
Born in Augusta, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late James and G. Elma Smith (nee Pippin).
Dorothy was an avid reader, Army wife and mom.
She enjoyed visiting the Brandywine Museum.
Some of her greatest talents were being a floral designer and a quilting teacher.
She taught locally and learned from the quilting challenges that arose.
Dorothy was the devoted wife of Robert C. Key.
He took unbelievable care of his loving wife while she was at the Exton Senior Living Community. She is also survived by her loving children Robert C. Key, Jr. (Cheryl), Linda J. Key (Susan Brown), Alan Key (Carrie) and her dear grandchildren Rachel Key, Samantha Key and Tyler Key.
She was predeceased by her brothers, James "Corkie" Smith and Dick Smith.
Services and Interment are private.
