Dorothy V. Janssen, of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, just eleven days before her 100th birthday.

Born in St. Paul, MN in 1926, she was the daughter of the late George and Anne Racine. Dorothy was a co-founding member of SS Simon & Jude Church, where she worked for many years as the secretary.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Janssen; loving mother of Mark (Cathy) and Denise West (Michael); devoted grandmother of Michelle Falkowski (Adam), Jennifer Stevenson (Jason), Staci West (Richard) and Travis Janssen; adoring great-grandmother of Lilian, Joshua and Annabelle Falkowski as well as Emily and Benjamin Stevenson.

She was predeceased by her great-granddaughter, Isabella Falkowski ; and siblings, Leonard, Bernice, Elmire, Rita and Mary Ann.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:30-11:30 AM Monday, April 6, 2026 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA followed by her Funeral Mass 11:30 AM. Interment St. Agnes Mausoleum, West Chester.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Serenity Hospice, 3331 Street Road, Suite 101, Bensalem, PA 19020.
