Doris Lowe

Doris R. Lowe (nee Udicious), 91, of West Chester, PA passed away on September 3, 2019.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Anna (Gresco) Udicious.

A very strong, independent woman, Doris was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who raised her three children on her own.

In her earlier years, Doris worked as a fingerprint specialist with the FBI and later as a secretary with Armstrong World Industries.

She was extremely patriotic and loved gardening.

Doris was the wife of the late Arthur L. Lowe, Jr.; loving mother of Arthur L. Lowe III, Victoria E. Lowe Shuman (Kevin Shuman) and Elisa D. Lyons (Paul Riley); devoted grandmother of six grandchildren and five step grandchildren; great-grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren; dear sister of William Udicious (Jacquelyn), Rose Marie Fury (the late George) and Nancy Dumm (Charles). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters; Elizabeth Bromberick, Barbara Weisman, Patricia Weston and her brother, Richard Udicious.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery.
