Donna Luongo Savastio

Donna Luongo Savastio, age 74, of West Chester, PA, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1951, she was the daughter of the late Stanley E. Luongo, Sr. and Rose Marie (nee Florio) Luongo. Upon graduation from Cardinal O'Hara High School, Donna started out as a young mother working as an administrative assistant with a major financial company. She moved on to become a paralegal with a local law firm, and then as an executive assistant with a local environmental consulting firm where she eventually became a significant principal owner.

Above all, Donna was a loving daughter, sibling, mother, spouse, aunt, friend and "hostess extraordinaire", always cooking up incredible Italian American cuisine. She continued the ageless family traditions including the "Feast of the Seven Fishes" every Christmas Eve, hosting countless other holiday/birthday dinners and also loved cooking impromptu dinners for no reason at all other than to just get family & friends together.

Donna was the beloved wife of Edward A. Savastio; loving mother of Dennis J. McDonnell, Jr.; dear sister of Lauren Luongo Edgar (Dennis), Rosemarie Luongo Daley (Daniel), Stanley E. Luongo, Jr. (Danielle), Ronald A. Luongo (Sharon); adoring aunt of Vincent M. Luongo (Sydney), Justina A. Luongo, Matthew S. Luongo, Andrew A. Luongo, Angelina M. Luongo, Alexa E. Luongo, Ashley R. Luongo, the late Robyn S. Kuperstein, and the late Kimberly J. Kuperstein.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:30 Thursday, July 16, 2026 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Entombment at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery will be private for family only. All attendees are invited to a luncheon immediately following the Mass.
