Donald Kenneth Tyson

Donald Kenneth Tyson (Don), age 71 of Drexel Hill, PA, passed peacefully on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025.

Donald was born in Darby, PA on March 21st 1954, the beloved son of the late William, Sr. and Edith (née Lorah) Tyson.

For many years, Don served his community contributing his skills and knowledge through his work at Burhill Hardware in Drexel Hill, PA. He also engaged in lawn mower and snow blower repairs, as well as landscaping services.

Don was an avid collector of Lionel trains, which brought him immense joy. His massive collection of model trains was a testament to his love for all things that moved on tracks. Don’s fascination with trains was further exemplified through his visits to the Strasburg Railroad and Museum, where he delighted in the experience of riding the Strasburg trains. One of his favorite traditions was staying at The Red Caboose in Ronks, PA, which became a yearly highlight for him.

Don is survived by his loving partner, Carole Anne Marley, as well as his many dear friends, colleagues, and business clients he served throughout his career. He is predeceased by his brother, William Tyson, Jr.

Services and interment will be held privately.
