Dominic (“Don”) James Urbano, December 24, 1934 – November 6, 2025

The son of Paul and Carmello (“Molly,” nee’ Facciolo), and predeceased by sister Josephine Hewes, Don was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Don attended West Catholic High School and spent his younger years working in his family’s grocery store, in Clifton Heights. His teenage years were split between participating in Scouts, being an altar boy, and performing in school shows. He entered the Armed Forces, serving as a mechanic on Nike air defense missile systems.

After attending LaSalle College, Don began his professional career as an accountant. Then, he began a thirty-year career selling point-of-sale systems. Don flourished as a sales representative with notable groundbreaking companies, such as NCR and Martin Marietta.

Don met the love of his life, Louise, in high school. After having their two children, Alison and Dana, they moved to Broomall, where they spent the rest of their lives.

Don’s favorite memories were traveling with Louise and summers down the shore with his entire family. He inspired Louise to start her renowned dance studio, Louise School of Dance, which he supported through his management. Don was well known in his neighborhood for his long walks with his dog Saylor, where he stopped to talk to everyone he met.

A proud veteran, Don spent his retirement years pursuing his two passions - photography and golfing - through working with Ritz Cameras and as a Ranger at Paxon Hollow Country Club. He loved playing golf with his buddies and working at the golf course. Don was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus, an organization devoted to charity, faith, and family. A devout Catholic, he found great fulfilment through prayer and community at St. Pius X.

Don is survived by his daughters; Alison Faga (Peter) and Dana Alan (Kenny), his grandchildren; David, Lauren (Kevin), Devin (Albert), Tristan (Er3yn) and Tia, and his great grandchildren; Piper, Kayla, Riley, and Nolan.
