Dolores Theresa Moran

Dolores “Dee” Moran, a cherished resident of Milmont Park, PA, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, at the age of 89. Born and raised in Chester, Pennsylvania, Dolores was the cherished daughter of the late Rudolph and Katherine Kusciak.

Dolores attended St. Hedwig’s Catholic Elementary School, and she graduated from Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA. She worked at Bell Telephone all of her life as a teller and later on in customer service.

Dolores had a generous, loving and caring heart, always eager to help others and bring a smile to those around her. She loved spending her days in the garden, reading, cooking for family and friends, and keeping her home welcoming and bright. The Jersey shore was one of her favorite places to relax along with her home in Galena, Maryland. She had a deep love for all living creatures, delighting in feeding the birds and caring for all her animal friends that lived over the hill. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew her. Her catholic faith was practiced at the churches she loved, St. Hedwig’s, Our Lady of Peace, and St. Rose of Lima. She was devoted in her faith and never missed mass.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Edward Moran, and her sister, Frances Miller. Dolores is survived by her devoted niece, Valerie Jackson McLaughlin and her loving nephews, Billy, Stephen, James, Patrick (Nicole), Andrew, and great-nephews, Sebastian and Jackson.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by her kindness and love.

Friends and family are welcome to attend Dolores’s viewing on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 9:45 to 11:00 a.m., with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022. Interment will follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
