Dolores Ann Coyle (nee Holloway), age 93, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Swarthmore, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jean (nee Frantz) and Caswell F. Holloway, Sr. and the stepdaughter of the late Helen M. Holloway. She was a graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova.
Dolores was the loving mother of Barbara Deyarmin, Ann Black (Colin), Susan Dalton (Terry), Helena Ary (Kevin), and the late Robert McLean (Elizabeth); devoted grandmother of Richard Deyarmin, Sarah Timmons, Katelyn Timmons, Lauren Black, Katherine Black, Madison Ary, and the late William “Billy” Deyarmin; cherished great-grandmother of Jayden Blythe and Charlotte Timmons.
Dolores moved to Maris Grove in 2008 making special connections with many caregivers and staff along the way. Before moving to Maris Grove, Dolores was a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Swarthmore where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and loved to sing in the church choir. Dolores was also a volunteer at Taylor Hospital for many years. She enjoyed playing the piano, and crocheting blankets for her family as well as donating them to Project Linus. Above all else, spending time with her family brought Dolores the most joy. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Services and Interment will be private.
