Dennis V. "Denny" Nicholas, 67, formerly of Malvern, PA, passed away on February 1, 2018.
Born in Darby, PA in 1950, he was the son of the late William and Dorothy (nee Klick) Nicholas. Denny was a 1968 graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School and he attended Drexel University. He was the proud owner of Nicholas Real Estate, Havertown, PA. After Denny retired, he was an employee of The Donohue Funeral Home and loved to visit Stone Harbor, NJ in the summer. He was an avid Eagles fan as well as a staunch supporter of Malvern Prep and the Academy of Notre Dame. Denny was a devoted family man and he will be dearly missed.
He was the beloved husband of Bernadette M. (nee McHugh) Nicholas; loving father of Katharine P. McGlade (Thomas), Brendan F. Nicholas (Priscila), Jeffrey R. Nicholas (Bonnie), and Elizabeth A. Rubino (Geoffrey); devoted grandfather of Marley Dylan, Finnigan, Graysen, Molly, Parker, and Heidi Sinatra; dear brother of William Nicholas (Agnes), Thomas Nicholas (Patricia), James Nicholas (Dorothy), and the late Joseph Hart.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 12:00-2:00 PM Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at St. Norbert Church, 50 Leopard Road, Paoli, PA 19301, followed by his Memorial Mass at 2:00 PM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
