Deborah Irene Jones (née Much), 81, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Egg Harbor Twp, NJ passed away on June 28, 2022, surrounded by her family.

 

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1941, Debbie was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (née Donnelly) and Jacob Much, DDS.

 

Debbie was the beloved wife of 58 years to Sterling A. Jones; loving mother of Michael (Christine), Keith (Christa), and Tisha Casale (Jay); devoted grandmother of Amanda Renzi, Hunter Jones, Karianna Jones, Ryan Jones, Brittany Jones, Ashley Jones, Lindsay Jones, Colby Hunt and Olivia Hunt; cherished great-grandmother to Sterling Renzi, August Renzi and Everly Jones; dear sister of Dr. Mandell J. Much, Donald Much, Samuel Much, Elizabeth Horrocks and the late Priscilla Elko.

 

Debbie was a 1959 graduate of Penncrest High School in Media, PA and a 1963 graduate of Lockhaven State University. She worked as a Teacher and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

 

She enjoyed shopping and traveling, a good round of golf and playing Mahjong.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Graveside Service 11:00 AM Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
