Deane "Billie" Wardlaw

Deane “Billie” Wardlaw, age 94, of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2023.

Born in Farrell, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (née Keefe) Wardlaw. 

Billie received her B.S. and M.B.A. from St. Joseph’s University and was employed as an Accountant.  She loved to sew, travel, enjoyed gardening, and flowers of every kind.  She also loved to discuss current events.  One of her favorite places to visit was Cape May, NJ and sharing stories of time spent there.  Billie also enjoyed a nice Manhattan.

Billie is survived by her nieces, Kathleen Mills (Tom Gensel) and Mary Beth Mills Cerantonio (George), as well as her grand-niece, Sarah Gensel.  She is predeceased by her sisters, Marilyn Wardlaw, La Rue Mills (Raymond), and her brother, Donald Wardlaw.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Wednesday, September 20, 2023, 9:00 to 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA  19008, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.  Interment at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
