David J. Hulsey, of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on September 5, 2018 of pancreatic cancer.
Born in 1939, and raised in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Amy and John McLaughlin.
He was predeceased by his wife, Kay Hulsey, who passed away in 2001.
Throughout his life, Dave was an avid entrepreneur in the Food and Catering industry.
He was well-known for making the "best potato salad" in town.
When Dave was in the eighth grade, he opened his own produce stand.
During his lifetime in Delaware County, he was a dedicated member of the Upper Darby Republican Committee.
He volunteered diligently to help fellow law makers in the community.
Dave will lovingly be remembered as always exercising his resources of dependability to his closest family members, neighbors and any friend in need.
Dave is survived by his children, Donna, David, Cora, Brian and Steven and their mother, Sarah Hulsey.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Jackie, Johnny, Monica, Chad, Evan, Sara, Giana, Lexi, Julia, Brian, Rebecca, Jessica and Eric and his great-grandchildren Jason, Christian, Kaylean, Giana and Aubrey.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300.
Interment will be private.
