Daniel T. McGettigan

Daniel T. McGettigan, 64, passed away on April 1, 2024.  Beloved son of the late John A. and Elizabeth (nee O’Neill) McGettigan.

Daniel is survived by his loving siblings, Michael McGettigan, Eileen McGettigan (Joe), Edward McGettigan, James McGettigan (Tina), Betsy McGettigan (Steve), and Megan Carr (Tim); Uncle of Andrew, Samantha (Jack), Jacklyn (Chris), Matthew, Jesse, and James; And great uncle to Jax. Dan is predeceased by his brother, John McGettigan and his sister, Ann Basden.

Daniel, a caring, generous and loving man, will be missed frequenting his local establishments with friends, like Craig’s Tavern.  Although known to be stubborn, he truly had a heart of gold.

Daniel was a true Philadelphia sports fan, most especially the Eagles! He loved to play golf with friends in his early years but later would find just as much joy watching a game on tv.

Relatives and friends are invited to Daniels’ Visitation Monday, April 8 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA followed by his Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Interment private.
