Daniel T. Downey, age 89, of Wayne, PA, passed away on April 28, 2014. He was born in Englewood, NJ and was a 1950 graduate of St. Joseph University. He was an insurance executive and retired in the mid-1980's after 35 years of employment.
Daniel was predeceased by his wife Jane Downey (nee Stackhouse). He is survived by his daughter Mary Jane McNabb (Chris) and his granddaughters Janine, Julie and Megan.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, May 3, 2014 11:30 AM-12:10 PM St. Katharine of Siena Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Avenue, Wayne, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 12:15 PM. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the American Red Cross, 2221 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103 would be appreciated.
