Daniel Wayne DelVacchio

Daniel Wayne DelVacchio, cherished son of the late Donato and Alba Marie (DiFabio) DelVacchio, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026.

He is lovingly remembered by his sister, Karen M. DelVacchio, as well as many beloved cousins. In addition to his parents, Dan was predeceased by his sister, Eileen R. DelVacchio.

Dan had a lifelong love of the outdoors. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, with some of his happiest moments spent fishing off his boat in Cape May or visiting his sister, Karen, for sport fishing in the Outer Banks. He also took great pride in raising his own chickens, reflecting his appreciation for nature and the simple pleasures of life. Dan enjoyed preparing meals with the "fruits of his labor" for friends and family and sharing stories of his travels and hunting expeditions.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dan's life during a visitation on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at SS. Simon and Jude Church in West Chester, Pennsylvania. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place afterward at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pennsylvania.

Dan will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his quiet enjoyment of nature, and the lasting memories he leaves with those who knew and loved him.
