Cynthia Ann Mayer

Cynthia Ann Mayer, age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family on August 25, 2025. She was a beloved daughter of the late Robert and Jean (nee Hunt) Roberts.

Cynthia is survived by her daughter Lynn Bunn (Bill) and her sons Pete Mayer (Diane) and Mark Mayer, as well as her cherished grandchildren- Ryan, Brandon, Tori, Kendra, Caroline, Madeleine, and Elliot. Also central to her joy were her great-grandchildren Cora, Ellery, Luke, Ava, Maya, Ruby, and Sophie. She was predeceased by her loving brother, Peter Roberts.

She went back to school later in life and earned her computer science degree. She used these skills at Ship N Out and Hipotronics until retirement.

Her love for travel took her to many countries around the globe. Cynthia embraced the richness of diverse cultures and experiences, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Cynthia was also an avid participant in sweepstakes, a pursuit that brought her great joy and success. Throughout her life, she celebrated many wins including fabulous trips to Europe and Mexico as well as twice winning a trip to the Country Music Association’s Award ceremony. Her smaller winnings provided an endless supply of Chinese auction gifts at family reunions, much to the delight of all.

She will be deeply missed. Cynthia/Gma's vibrant legacy will continue to inspire her family and friends.

Services and interment will be private.
