Connie Marie Robinson (nee Norris), age 92, of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026.
Born in Dakota City, Nebraska, in 1933, Connie was the daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (nee Chamberlain) Norris. Connie grew up on a farm where she developed the independence, resilience, and strong work ethic that would serve her throughout her life. At the age of 18 she moved to Sioux City to strike out on her own and pursue new opportunities. She later relocated to King of Prussia, Pennsylvania with her husband Burdell (Bing) Miller, where together they raised their two beloved sons, Michael and Kyle who remained a source of pride and joy throughout her long life. Connie enjoyed a successful 25-year career as an Executive Assistant at General Electric, where she was admired for her intelligence, professionalism, and impeccable sense of style. It was at GE that she met the love of her life, Francis J. Robinson, with whom she shared many wonderful years.
Together, Connie and Fran traveled extensively, exploring destinations including Japan, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, and beyond. They were also longtime Members of Overbrook Golf Club where they enjoyed many years of golf, friendship, and social gatherings.
Connie was a woman of many interests. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, interior decorating, and entertaining family and friends in her beautiful home. Summer pool parties, sleepovers with her grandchildren, and her legendary fried chicken became treasured traditions. Christmas was especially dear to her heart. She delighted in decorating her home, sharing the stories behind each cherished ornament and keepsake, and piles of presents.
At age 60, Connie retired from General Electric and embraced a new chapter with Fran, spending winters at their home in Longboat Key, Florida. Those years were filled with new friends, golf, water aerobics, sun, and the simple pleasures of living life to the fullest.
Connie was beautiful, joyful and generous. She found happiness in her flower garden, visits to the farmers market, walks with neighbors, dinners out, and caring for her home and treasured collections. Above all, she loved her family and took great pride in the lives of those she held dear.
Connie was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Robinson; loving mother of Kyle Miller and the late Michael Miller, Sr.; stepmother of Mark Robinson and Debora Adler, devoted grandmother of Michael Miller, Jr. and Christina Earhart; step-grandmother to Ashley Rose and Jamie LaMent, and dear sister of Sally Neuberger; April McIntosh, the late Jon Norris, and the late Harold Norris. She was also "MeMe" to five great grandchildren: Patrick, Michael, Jack, Rafe and Maggie, who always brought a smile to her face.
She will be remembered for her warmth, grace, generosity, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
