Connie Boland

Connie Boland, age 89, of West Chester, PA, currently was living in Coatesville, PA, passed away on Saturday May 17, 2025.

Born in Glen Lyon, PA on April 9, 1936, Connie was the daughter of the late Constanty Lemanowicz and Dominica DiConcini. She spent much of her career as a dedicated Office Manager, known for her sharp memory, strong work ethic, and quick wit.

Connie had a zest for life and a love for simple pleasures. She was a lifelong dog lover, known for sneaking treats to her grand-dogs under the table—Roxy, Milo, and Koda will miss her (and their special treats) dearly, and she will be reunited with her beloved dogs Aggie, Willie, and Shelby and past grand-dogs, Buddy and Brandy.

She enjoyed bowling in her younger years and treasured time spent with friends, neighbors, and family. A true optimist at heart, Connie never passed up a trip to the casino—always hopeful that the next spin might be the big one. She found just as much joy in cheering over a $2 gas station scratch-off win as she did sitting at the slots.

Her family will always cherish the memories of her “hamburgers and gnocchi” dinners, lovingly prepared and always followed by a chocolate milkshake or a scoop of her favorite chocolate marshmallow ice cream.

Connie was the beloved wife of Victor J. Boland; loving mother of Michele L. Warren (Ralph), Conrad W. Boland (Lori), Douglas M. Boland, and the late Victor J. Boland, III (Eileen); dear sister of William Lemanowicz and the late Paul Lemanowicz; devoted Mimi of Carley Stutzman, Victoria Hopkins, Kimberly Burmester, Michael Stutzman, Matthew Stutzman, Emma Boland, and Peter Boland; proud great-grandmother of Bradley Davidson, Avalyn Sipmeier and Titus James Stutzman;

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:30-11:30 AM Friday, May 23, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Interment Our Lady of Consolation Cemetery (known as Our Lady of Seven Dolors), Parkesburg, PA.
