Clark Charles Coulston, affectionately known as “GATOR", passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on January 28, 2026, in West Chester, PA. He was 87 years old.
A man of many talents and deep local roots, Clark was a proud member of Ironworkers Local #401 in Philadelphia. His dedication to his community was also evident through his long-standing membership with the Knights of Columbus, Council #1333 in West Chester.
Beyond his professional life, Clark was a talented artist and an avid gardener who found peace in nature. A lifelong historian, he possessed a curious spirit that led him to travel the world. Alongside his beloved wife, Lucille, he explored the cultures of Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America. For many years, the couple enjoyed spending their winters on Hutchinson Island, Florida, where Clark could most often be found indulging in his favorite pastimes—boating and fishing.
Clark is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Lucille Coulston; his devoted son, Clark (Regina). He is also survived by his sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Catherine Coulston, and his brothers, Donald and Stephen.
Clark will be remembered for his personal strength, his creative talent, and adventurous spirit. His legacy lives on in the family he loved so dearly and the many stories from his lifelong adventures.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith; and now there is in store for me the prize of eternal life." - 2 Timothy
