Christopher Michael McMahon, 55, of Chester, NJ and formerly of Upper Darby, PA passed away on September 17, 2017.
Born in Upper Darby on November 3rd 1961, he was the son of John E. "Jack" and Ruth A. (Stallsmith) McMahon.
Christopher was the beloved father of Christopher M. "C.J." McMahon, Jr., Danielle K. McMahon, Meghan T. McMahon, Shannon H. McMahon, and Tristan M. McMahon; devoted grandfather of Jocelyn; dear brother of John E. McMahon, Jr. (Chandra), Robert W. McMahon (Lisa), and Laura E. Slugg (Matthew); predeceased by his sister Karol L. McMahon; survived by many nieces and nephews; and also his loving companion Dawn McKay and her sons, Christopher and Zachary.
A graduate of Upper Darby High School in 1979 and the Automotive Training Center in 1982, Chris worked as an auto technician for more than 25 years. His major interests included: participating in family activities, keeping the family car fleet running, enjoying time at the New Jersey and Maryland seashore, taking Caribbean cruises and following Nascar racing.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-11:30 AM Friday, September 22, 2017 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 followed by his Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Interment Valley Forge Memorial Gardens.
