Christopher Cavalli

Christopher “Chris” Cavalli, loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on July 6th, 2023 surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born on July 23rd, 1962 in Drexel Hill, PA. He was the son of the late Aldo and Madeline (nee Mastroianni) Cavalli.

Chris had numerous hobbies and interests, but his favorite thing to do was spend time with his wife, his two daughters, and his dog "Rocket". Chris was the ultimate handyman, doing everything from building an addition on his home, to cultivating his vegetable garden, affectionately known as “the farm”, to perfecting his recipe of chicken soup.

Chris loved sports; the Phillies and college football were his favorites.  He was an accomplished athlete excelling in baseball, basketball, football and golf.  He also had a passion for trains especially working on his model trains.

People gravitated to Chris because of his personality, intelligence, honesty and sense of humor.  He created catch phrases that became the vernacular of anyone around him.  He was a pleasure to spend time with.

Chris is survived by his wife Kathy (née Conroy), his daughters Sophia and Laura, and his five siblings Alexander, Mary Catherine, Aldo (Rita), Richard (Konstantinos) and Karen (Ted), and their families.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing at 9:00am on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by the Funeral mass at 11:00 am at the Saint Dorothy’s Catholic Church, 4910 Township Line rd. Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment will be held at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
