Cheryl Schmolz

Cheryl Schmolz, 61, of Glenmoore, PA, formerly of Tinicum Township, Delaware County, PA, passed away May 18, 2025. Born March 17, 1964 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter to the late Milton Alfred and Grace Ethel (nee Lord) Campione.

Cheryl was a licensed beautician and taught at the Venus Beauty Academy. She was also a loans processor for Chemical Bank. After having children, Cheryl decided to homeschool each of her four children from kindergarten to 12th grade. Cheryl loved to cook and bake, and regularly hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for her entire extended family.

Cheryl loved “anything with fur” and fostered/socialized many kittens for the Paws organization. She also loved caring for the squirrels and the other backyard animals, but especially the squirrels, by far her favorite animal.

Cheryl was the beloved wife of Fred Schmolz.; loving mother of Denver F. Schmolz, Austin Schmolz (Abigail Lowry), Savannah Schmolz (Brandon Pratt), and Madison E. Schmolz; and dear sister of Kenneth Johnson. She will also be dearly missed by her sister-in-law, Christine E. Schmolz, whom Cheryl considered as a sister, as well as her feline companion, Cleo.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 27, 2025 and 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment at Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery.
