It is with sadness and heart full of love that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving wife, mom and mom-mom Charlotte Adams on April 28, 2026, at her home in West Grove PA surrounded by her husband she adored, and the children and grandchildren who were the joy of her life. Charlotte did not simply leave this world, she departed it the same way she lived in it wrapped in family, warmth and in love. Charlotte shared 66 extraordinary years of marriage with her beloved husband, Thomas Adams. There love story began at Advanced Specialty, where Charlotte started her career and within just four short months knew she had found the person she was meant to spend her life with. Their partnership was a testament to devotion, laughter and an unshakeable faith, a love that only depended with every passing year.
Charlotte's working life was as rich and varied as her spirit. After Advanced Specialty she became a taxi driver for Vitae House (a rehabilitation center for addiction.) a role that spoke to her compassionate heart and her genuine care for people in their most vulnerable moments. She went on to work at Norcross, then Commadore computers, where she had the special privilege to working alongside her son Thomas Adams Jr. Charlotte then found her professional home at QVC in West Chester where she dedicated over 20 years of her life before retiring with grace and gratitude.
Charlotte and Tom raised their four children on a farm in Glenmoore at Springton Manor farm where they lived for more than 20 years. Those years were filled with go karts and horses, Gardening and baseball games, picnics and barbeques with friends, and Tobogganing in the winter. They were years that shaped a family and created memories that her children and grandchildren will carry with them forever. They later moved to Downingtown and eventually settled in West Grove. Among Charlotte and Tom's most treasured traditions were their years at Hickory Park campground in Gilbertsville. There they were surrounded by friends they had known since High school and beloved family members. They would gather for games, laughter and the kind of easy, joyful picnics that only happen when the right people come together. These were some of Charlotte's happiest memories.
Faith was the quiet cornerstone of Charlotte's life. She and Tom were faithful members of West Grove United Methodist Church, where they served as ushers with warmth and dedication. Their presence there was a gift their congregation and reflection of two people who found deep meaning in serving the lord and their community side by side.
Charlotte Adams had a heart that was so big it would fill any room. She loved to laugh and loved to make others laugh and she had an effortless way of making everyone around her feel seen, Loved and at home. She was the kind of women who gave great advice not because she pushed her opinions, but because she listened and then offered her wisdom with grace and without judgment. She supported her children and grandchildren through every decision life brought. Celebrating their wins and helping them through their struggles. She lit up when her grandchildren and great grandchildren walked into the room. There was no hiding of her joy that spread across her face. She was eagerly and joyfully anticipating the arrival of her 20th great grandchild, baby boy Delia due in September. Her excitement to see his little face was a testament of the love she had for every single life that called her Mom - Mom. Though she will not hold him in her arms here on earth she will hold him in her heart from somewhere far more beautiful.
Charlotte loved the outdoors and all the beauty that came with it, her flowers, her birds, the farm or the campground, the open air the simple pleasures of a good garden and warm afternoon. But her greatest love was Tom and her Children Deborah, Tommy, Danny and Cathy and all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren who made her world so wonderfully full.
Charlotte always said her family were her blessings. But those who knew her - who were raised by her, Loved by her, guided by her-know the truth: We were the blessed ones. Her strength, her love, and her passion for living a simple and good life taught us all that the most priceless gift in this world is God and family. She lived that truth every day.
A Special Thank you to Willow Tree Hospice Service for their love and care and assistance to make Charlottes last days as comfortable as possible.
