Charles Thompson

Charles John Hall Thompson passed away peacefully the evening of Feb. 16, 2021, at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, with his family virtually present. He was 63. He bravely battled two cancers, lymphoma and lung cancer, for 17 years.

A lifelong resident of Delaware County, Thompson was a classically trained instrumentalist, performing as a pianist, clarinetist and bassoonist. He toured the country with experimental and jazz bands. Thompson was also a passionate gardener and home chef.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Charles Thompson's memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 100 N. 20th Street, Suite 405, Philadelphia, PA  19103.

Services and interment will be held privately.
