It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles "Buzz" Edward Pascoe, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Chuck departed this world on October 19, 2023, surrounded by his family at home, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Chuck was born on January 29, 1935 in California, PA, to Charles H. and Katherine Pascoe. He was a son of this community, and his life was a testament to the enduring power of love, laughter, and resilience.

Charles "Buzz" Edward Pascoe had a heart full of warmth and an infectious sense of humor. He was known for his lightheartedness and his penchant for practical jokes. His mischievous pranks and playful nature brightened the lives of those around him, leaving lasting smiles and cherished memories.

Chuck was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Donna M. Pascoe, for 68 years. Their love was a shining example of the beauty of a strong and enduring partnership. Together, they weathered life's storms, celebrated its joys, and created a loving family.

Chuck was a dedicated educator, serving as a science teacher at Forrest Park Middle School in Euclid, Ohio. His passion for education touched the lives of countless students, and he inspired many to reach their full potential. He believed in the power of knowledge and worked tirelessly to instill a love of learning in the hearts of his students.

In addition to his career in education, Chuck also worked at Sun Oil and R.E. Carrol, where he demonstrated a strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family.

Chuck proudly served his country in the United States Army, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the principles of duty, honor, and service.

Chuck's influence extended beyond the classroom and workplace. He loved teaching his grandkids the importance of networking and encouraged them to create goals, emphasizing that these goals are not static but evolve over time. Buzz also urged his children and grandchildren to invest wisely, imparting valuable financial wisdom and ensuring that the legacy of his knowledge would continue to grow.

Chuck had a passion for life that extended beyond the classroom and workplace. He enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities, including golf, tennis, skiing, and archery. These pursuits brought him joy and allowed him to connect with friends and family, creating lasting memories.

Chuck was a loving and dedicated father to his children. He was their guiding light, providing unconditional love and support throughout their lives. His commitment to his family was unwavering, and he was a source of wisdom and inspiration to his children.

Throughout his life, Chuck was a true community champion. He served as a baseball and basketball coach at Forrest Park Middle School, touching the lives of countless individuals and families. He had a heart full of compassion and was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. His impact on the community will be felt for generations to come.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Donna M. Pascoe; his cherished children, Charles “Terry” (Laurel) Pascoe, Robert “Scott” (Cyndi) Pascoe, Sheryl (Robert d.) Anderson, and Sharyn (Bernie) Pisano; 10 grandchildren, Jill Anderson, Lauren Anderson, Heather (Philip) Fienhold, Steven Pascoe, Sean (Rachel) Pascoe, Megan (Andrew) Pollick, Ryan Pisano, Kenneth (Amy) Pascoe, Robert “Nick” (Ashely) Anderson, Courtney (Kevin) Ernst; 14 great-grandchildren, Hagan C. Gardner, Ethan Pascoe, Barrett Feinhold, Sophia Pollick, Payton Pascoe, Dakota Pascoe, Emmet Pascoe, Paisley Anderson, Jack Anderson, Stella Anderson, Owen Pascoe, Aria Pascoe, Linley Ernst, Lexi Ernst; his siblings, JoAnne (Richard d. 2014) Ranshaw and John (Sarah) Pascoe; and a wide circle of friends and extended family members who will always hold him in their hearts. While he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will live on in the memories we shared and the love he bestowed upon us.

Interment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH, on November 6, 2023 at 2:30 PM, where friends and family will gather to honor his memory and share stories of his remarkable life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org/), a cause that was close to Chuck's heart.

Charles "Buzz" Edward Pascoe leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and community spirit that will continue to inspire us all. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever be a source of light and love in our hearts. May he rest in eternal peace.
