Charles F. Niesley, Sr.

Charles F. Niesley, Sr., age 95, of Bryn Mawr, PA, passed away on June 15, 2024.

Born in Mineola, NY in 1929, he was the son of the late Charles Merkel, Jr. and Martha Gladys (nee Jones) Niesley. Charlie worked as a Software Support Manager for Unisys. He and his wife Elma enjoyed traveling after they retired, including visiting Disney World, Bermuda, and a dude ranch in Eaton, WY. Over the years, Charlie enjoyed motorcycles, riding horses, and having a good glass of wine but his greatest passion was music. He was a talented piano player and enjoyed sharing his talents, often playing at nursing homes, retirement communities and for the church services where he lived.

Charlie was the beloved husband of the late Elma C. (nee Robinson) Niesley and the loving father of Charles F. Niesley, Jr. (Caroline) and Barbara C. DiAnnibella (Nicholas).

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service 11:00 AM Saturday July 20, 2024 at Wayne Presbyterian Church, in Wayne PA. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Wayne Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
