Charles Mungan, Sr.

Charles P. Mungan, Sr., age 87, of Havertown, PA, passed away on January 2, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Charles P. and Rose Mungan (nee Naulty).
Charles was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Joseph University. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed as a Petrochemical Sales Executive.
Charles held memberships in the St. Thomas More High School Alumni Association, the St. Joseph University Alumni Association, and the National Paint & Coatings Association. He was a member of Annunciation BVM Parish in Havertown and the Overbrook Golf Club.
He enjoyed golf, St. Joseph University Basketball, the Philadelphia 76ers, Phillies and Eagles sports teams and hosting cocktail parties.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage, Mary Mungan (nee Ford), his loving children Charles P. Mungan, Jr. (Jeannie), Mark S. Mungan (Patti), Gregory J. Mungan, Matthew J. Mungan (Marielle Cohen) and his grandchildren Alison Mungan, Emily Mungan, Jack Cohen-Mungan, Shane Cohen-Mungan and Bryn Cohen-Mungan. He was predeceased by his sisters Rosemary Epright and Patricia Horace.
