Cecilia E. DeMara, of Lansdale, PA, passed away on July 12, 2026 at the age of 98, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, warmth, and steadfast love.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Caroline (née Mager) McDonnell.
Remembered fondly as a devoted wife for 61 years, Cecilia’s life was defined by her unwavering dedication to her husband, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Her deep bonds with her family formed the foundation of a long and well-lived life.
Cecilia found joy in simple pleasures and steady routines. She enjoyed cross-stitching, a pastime she approached with patience and creativity. An avid reader, she continually sought knowledge and inspiration from literature. Among her favorite pastimes was spending time in Ocean City, New Jersey, a place where she created lasting traditions and happy memories with her loved ones.
Cecilia was the beloved wife of the late Robert P. DeMara; the loving mother of Paul DeMara (Kathleen), Regina Krol (Joseph), and Gerald DeMara (Suzanne). She was the caring and affectionate grandmother of Brittany DeMara Bottmeyer (Eric), Ryan DeMara (Kirsten), Cari Woltman (Timothy), Megan Krol, Jerod DeMara, Zachary DeMara (Jill), and treasured great-grandmother of Cecilia Woltman.
