Catherine Rowan

Catherine P. Rowan (nee Pittelli), age 82, of Gulph Mills, PA, passed away on March 29, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Antoinette Pittelli (nee Vardaro). Catherine was employed as a secretary for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in the IPS Department.



She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John C. Rowan. She is survived by her loving children John P. Rowan, Anita Schwartz (Paul), Donna Beisel (Bill) and Christina Pierce (Rusty), her 12 grandchildren, her brother Eugene (Marianne) and many nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, April 2, 2016 9:30-10:15 AM St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment is private.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Delaware County SPCA, 555 Sandy Bank Road, Media, PA 19063 would be appreciated.
