Catherine Romer

Catherine J. Romer (nee Gervinski), passed away on May 19, 2013. Born in Portage, PA, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Rozena Gervinski. She was a nurse for the Blair County Home for the Aging in Altoona, PA. She retired in 1995. She is survived by her children Constance Romer-Quirin (Terrence) and Karen Smith (Richard), her grandchildren Ethan (Stacy), Meredith, Clark, Courtney and Turner and her great-granddaughter Ayla. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Blanche Nigborowicz and Helen Gervinski. She was preceded in death by her husband Alex Paul Romer.
