Catherine M. Micucci, age 81, passed away on July 28, 2018, of Exton, PA, formerly of Havertown, PA and East Goshen, PA.
Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Daniel J. Micucci, Sr. She is survived by her loving children Daniel Jr. (Donnamaria), Carolyn Benson, Michael (Gail), Patricia DiMarcello (Raymond), Stephanie Bates (Daniel) and the late Susan Marie Micucci.
Dear sister of Neil McFadden, Mary Ellen "Mares" Higgins, Thomas McFadden, James McFadden, the late John McFadden and the late Charles McFadden. In addition to her children, she was loved by her 17 grandchildren: Michael, Matthew (Emily), Brittany Moon (Michael), Danielle, Nicholas, Rachel, Marc, Bradley, Christopher, Dominic, Grace, Anneliese, Benjamin, Max, Josephine, Gianna and Samuel, and her 3 great grandchildren: Parker, Greyson and Erik.
Mom and Dad loved working on home improvement projects. Mom had a traditional style but liked to add lots of color and patterns to her design.
Mom enjoyed working for St. Joseph's University for 23 years and made many great friends while employed there.
Mom was happiest when spending time with family and had a happy home that the grandchildren would visit often.
She loved hosting holiday dinners and had a family tradition for every holiday. She thought about every detail from the napkins to the desserts and put so much thought and effort into every occasion to make it special for us.
Mom was kind and gentle and was the quiet strength that kept our family as tight as it is today.
She was so proud of her family and her Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren were her greatest joy.
We are forever grateful to have had Mom in our lives.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, August 3rd from
7:00-9:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 610-431-9300 and to her Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 4th at 10:30 AM, St. Elizabeth Church, 120 St. Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs, PA.
Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
Contributions in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
