Catherine C. Mallory (nee Stinson), 93, of Mertztown, PA and formerly of West Chester, PA, passed away on July 8, 2018.
Born in Atlantic City, NJ in 1925, she was the daughter of the late Leo Francis and Marie E. (nee McDevitt) Stinson. Catherine graduated from West Catholic Girls' High School. She worked as a legal secretary and a pharmacy clerk, but her greatest joy was being a mother, homemaker, and grandmother. Catherine enjoyed reading, dancing, and eating ice cream. Collies were frequently a part of her household and she had a pet cockatiel named Raz. She often traveled to visit her family in Florida, Michigan, Utah, and Brigantine, NJ.
Catherine was the beloved wife of the late James C. Mallory; loving mother of James C. Mallory, Christine M. Dickson, Thomas J. Mallory (Pam), and Catherine Lee Taylor (Mark) and son-in-law, Garry Larkin; predeceased by her siblings, Margaret Loder and Thomas, Joseph, and Leo Stinson; also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and her sister's-in-law, Alice, Catherine, Marie, Mary Ann, and Susan.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10-10:50 AM Thursday, July 12, 2018 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA 19382, followed by her Funeral Mass 11 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
