Catherine "Cassie" Parkhill

Catherine “Cassie” Parkhill (née Lauletta), age 80, of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank, Sr. and Grace (née Patane) Lauletta.

Catherine was the owner/operator of a North Wildwood, NJ hotel, Sandy Court, for many years. Catherine was a graduate of Saint Maria Goretti High School in South Philadelphia. She was known as Deedee at St Pius X School, where she volunteered for many years. She and her best friend Mary enjoyed baking every year for the Holidays. Catherine was a devout Catholic and was inspired by and supported the works of St. John Neumann and his national shrine. 

Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Charles F. “Buddy ” Parkhill Jr.; the loving mother of Charles F. Parkhill, III and Bettyanne Vito; the doting grandmother of TJ Reiley (Breanna), Adrianna Vito, and Brandon Paliotti and wife Joelyn, and proud great-grandmother of Lena Paliotti, John, and expected great-grandchild, Caden Reiley.  Catherine is also survived by her brothers, Frank Lauletta, Jr. and Nick Lauletta.  She is predeceased by her siblings, Tina Barbone and Joe Lauletta.  

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Wednesday, May 3, 2023, 9:00 to 9:55 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA  19008, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.  Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
