Carrie S. Rieben

Carrie Sophia Rieben (nee Davis) passed away peacefully on September 22, 2023, in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, where she lived an incredible life of over 103 years. Carrie experienced more than a century of love, war, a beautiful family, and many hobbies.

The love of her life, Charles, passed away in her arms, far too early. They shared two sons – Charles E. Rieben, III (deceased) and James C. Rieben (Patricia).

Carrie was the beloved "Anmal" and "Grammy" to 4 grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer), Craig (Melissa), James (Leen), Laura (Anthony), and 7 great-grandchildren (Carter, Christopher, Corinne, Caden, Cate, Marron, and Vincent).

Carrie loved her family, her church, crossword puzzles, Wordle, chocolate, ice cream, a dirty joke, and a good, stiff drink- straight-up, no fruit. She was lucky to enjoy all those things during her last few days, surrounded by her loved ones.

She will be missed by family and numerous friends.
