Caroline Cosgrove

Caroline Lee Cosgrove (nee Young), age 95, of Downingtown, PA, formerly of Havertown, PA, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2021.

Born in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Eugene and Estelle Ruth (nee Fishel) Young.

Caroline was a former member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Havertown, PA.

Caroline was the beloved wife of the late William Leroy Cosgrove; the loving mother of Ross Eugene Cosgrove (Anne Worth); the devoted grandmother of William Ross Cosgrove, Rachel Chang Ya Cosgrove and Nathaniel Cosgrove.  She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Pamela Cosgrove.  Caroline is predeceased by her sons, Steven William Cosgrove and Michael Robert Cosgrove, her brother, Theodore Eugene Young, Jr. and her sister, Blanche Young Kessey.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, 11:00 – 11:30 AM at The Rothermel-Videon and Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:30 AM.  Interment Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
