Carol Ann Wisnewski

Carol Ann Wisnewski (formerly Napolitan), a woman of profound grace, endless gentleness, and deep faith, passed away on June 12, 2026, in West Chester, Pennsylvania at the age of 75. She was born to the late Walter and Rita Napolitan in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

For 54 years, she was a devoted and faithful companion to her husband, John Wisnewski, sharing a lifetime of memories, milestones, and enduring commitment.

Carol graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield before attending Keystone Business School and beginning her professional life at Mellon Bank in Philadelphia.

While gracefully raising their two children, Carol also dedicated her administrative talents to serving as the secretary for the family business. Later in life, her natural affinity for children led her to work as a beloved preschool assistant, where her nurturing touch blessed countless little ones.

As a young woman, Carol came to a joyful faith in her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. This decision became the bedrock of her life, and she spent all her subsequent years faithfully serving Him. Her faith was not merely a matter of belief, but an active, daily outpouring of love, patience, and prayer. Truly, she was the sweetest, softest, and kindest person any of us have ever known—a beautiful soul inside and out, with never a bad word to say about anyone. Carol spent her lifetime illuminating the lives of everyone she met with her radiant spirit and warm, beautiful smile.

Affectionately known as "Nan" by her children and grandchildren, family was Carol’s greatest joy. She possessed a remarkable gift with babies and children, welcoming each new generation with open arms and a heart full of wonder. Carol genuinely loved people and she was always attentive to those around her. She constantly made time for family and friends, attending Bible studies, sharing laughter over lunches with lady friends, giving gifts, and hosting loved ones in her home. She found great delight by serving Christ in this world, knowing that the Lord was always with her.

Her legacy of unconditional love and gentle faith will be forever cherished by her family. She is survived by her husband, John Wisnewski, who walked alongside her through life's many chapters, her daughter, Christine Walsh (Kevin) and son, Jeff (Kristin), as well as their grandchildren, Henry, Tommy, Stephen (Thea), Anna Marie, Gianna, and Lia.

She is also survived by her loving siblings: Lynn Ann Pouser, Roxanne Trujillo (Craig) and Walt Napolitan (Mare), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and a great- nephew. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, including her sister-in-law, Marie Wilson (Bob); her brother-in-law, David Wisnewski (Prissy); and her aunt, Margherita Abe.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Friday, July 24, 2026 at Calvary Chapel of Chester Springs, 217 Dowlin Forge Road, Exton, PA 19341, 610-524-5338, followed by her Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Luncheon to follow.
