Carol Ann Klekotka, 80, of Exton, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2023, with her family by her side.
Born December 26, 1942, in Ridley Park, PA, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Frances (nee Charshee) Tomaski.
Carol held an Associate’s Degree in Medical Secretarial from Keystone Secretary & Business Administration School and received her high school diploma from Interboro High School in Glenolden, PA.
Carol worked for Merck Research Laboratories in West Point, PA, as an Administrative Assistant in Drug Metabolism, for 24 years until she retired in April, 2004. In her retirement, Carol undertook the position of Office Administrator at WellSprings Congregation, a newly forming church, in Chester Springs, PA, where she established their functioning office and administrative procedures. Carol worked as WellSprings Office Administrator for 13 years until she retired a second time in June of 2019. Carol continued to put her computer and communication skills to work as a Contact Tracer for 2 ½ years until January of 2023.
Carol had many interests and hobbies over her lifetime. In her younger years, Carol loved to sew, make stained glass and was the organist for her church. She later became a Reiki practitioner, studied astrology and practiced mindfulness meditation. Carol loved her collections of crystals and seraphim angels which were beautifully displayed and enjoyed by everyone who visited her home. Carol had a love of technology, especially computers and graphic design, which was how Carol relaxed. She was self-taught with her IT skills, including building websites, and was known as “the family’s IT help desk.” In addition, Carol was devoted to her spiritual community, WellSprings Congregation, and held a strong faith in divine love and divine truth.
Carol was the loving mother of Susan M. Luczak and Marianne E. Lozinak; adoring grandmother of Melissa L. Giovinco, Christina M. Giovinco (Zachary Fairbrother) and Tommy Haruch. While Carol had no great grandchildren, she adored her great grand dog, Snowflake, who she loved to feed! She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Tomaski.
