Brian Paine

Brian Joseph Paine, age 71, of Broomall, PA, passed away on November 5, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Edward and Lillian (nee White) Paine.

Brian was a proud Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He was an avid bowler and hunter for nearly 50 years. Brian loved going to the mountains, especially Little Marsh. He was a member of the Rose Tree gardening club where he loved to grow vegetables and always gave to those in need so that nothing went to waste. Brian was always helping his neighbors whether it was cutting lawns, snow removal, or anything he was able to do. He enjoyed coaching his sons in little league and football. In addition, Brian was also a school bus driver for Marple Township and Leisure services.

Brian was the beloved husband of Carolyn M. (nee Landauer) Paine for 50 wonderful years; loving father of Brian W. Paine (Jennifer) and Joseph Paine (Tracy); adoring grandfather of Connor, Elizabeth, Bridget, Mackenzie, and Joseph; caring brother of Charles Mary Caton (Robert). He is also survived by his sister-in-law’s Marlyn Riccio (Jack), Cathy Murray, and Jackie Hunsicker (Andrew) and many loving nieces & nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Friday, November 12, 2021, 9:00-11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
