Blaine Edward Lehman, 68, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in his home.
He was born on July 31, 1957, in Ridley, Pennsylvania, to Dorothy and Robert Lehman.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Nicole Lehman.
He is survived by his loving wife, Robin Lehman; his children, Sondra Lehman (Ryan Tuckey) and Blaine Lehman (Kristyn Carter); his stepchildren, Ryan Gifford and Brandon Gifford (Judy Moore); and his cherished grandchildren, Luciana Gervasi, Ethan Gifford, and Hunter Gifford. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who were blessed to know him.
Blaine was a simple man in the very best sense of the word—someone who found joy in honest work, deep faith, good music, and the people he loved most. He was a man of God with a steady presence, a kind heart, and a quiet strength that drew people to him. If something needed fixing, building, or figuring out, Blaine was always willing to step in and help.
Known for his strong work ethic, Blaine spent over 20 years as a proud Teamster and was also a skilled mechanic. He took great pride in doing things the right way and giving his all in everything he did. In one extraordinary act of courage and selflessness, Blaine saved a woman’s life—an act for which he received an award recognizing his bravery and compassion. It was a powerful reflection of the man he was: calm under pressure, generous in spirit, and always willing to help someone in need.
Blaine had a true love for life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed motorcycles, rollerblading, boats, skiing, water skiing, fishing, grilling, rock and roll, and creating beautiful driftwood tables. He was happiest near the water—whether it was a river, bay, or beach—and found peace being out on the boat, fishing, or simply enjoying the stillness.
Above all else, Blaine loved his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 20 years, Robin Lehman, with whom he built a beautiful life full of laughter, music, and shared adventures. Together they spent cherished time at their bay house—boating, fishing, barbecuing, eating crabs, dancing, singing, traveling, and going on cruises—creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Blaine was a dedicated and hardworking father who did whatever it took to provide for his family. During his years as a single father, he carried responsibilities with determination and heart, always ensuring his children were cared for, supported, and loved. Later in life, when he married Robin, he didn’t just gain a wife—he gained two sons, whom he welcomed as his own without hesitation. To Blaine, family was defined by love, loyalty, and showing up.
He will be remembered for his piercing blue eyes, big bear hugs, humor, and the patience of a saint. He was a caring and kind man with a big heart, someone who made others feel comfortable, valued, and cared for simply by being himself.
Blaine Edward Lehman leaves behind a legacy of faith, hard work, kindness, and unconditional love. He gave everything he had to the people he loved and never gave up—even when life demanded more than it should. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Providence Church, located at 430 Hannum Avenue, 2nd Floor, West Chester, PA 19380. A lunch will follow the service.
