Betty Jane Lopata (nee Kulczyk), age 90, of West Brandywine, PA, formerly of Mesa, AZ and Abington, PA, passed away on June 24, 2018.
Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late John and Stella Kulczyk (nee Kania).
Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley E. "Babe" Lopata, her son, Thomas S. Lopata, and her siblings Virginia Gross and Edward Kulcyzk.
She is survived by her loving children Anthony Lopata (Pat), Gregory J. Lopata (Karen T.), Joann Sarver (Charles), Mary Terese Lopata, Carol Chornock (Lenny) and Matthew Lopata (Pam), and her 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, June 29, 2018 8:30 AM-10:00 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM St. Bernadette Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
